Cupping is an ancient practice used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Increasingly, cupping is also being used in Western sports therapy and general massage therapy. As every patient is different, it’s important to have a wide range of cup sizes.

Traditionally, heat is used to expand the air inside the cups, creating a vacuum, but many cups today use suction balls and valves. This allows for easy suction adjustment and negates the requirement for heat, which can make some patients uncomfortable.

The glass used in suction cups is extremely hard-wearing, durable and is easy to sterilise. This is essential when running a hygienic clinic. The glass wall is around 1 mm thick.
