This black Bian stone is a gua sha tool ideal for gentle massage and skin stimulation. Bian stones are traditional tools and their use dates back thousands of years to early Chinese medical practices. This claw-shaped stone is 8.5 cm long and has several different angles, enabling the user to use varying amounts of pressure.
Bian stone therapy
A form of gua sha, Bian stone therapy is a non-invasive practice using stones traditionally collected from the banks of the River Si. The stones would be ground into different shapes to allow practitioners to apply pressure to muscles and acupoints, offering soothing treatments and relieving pain.
Gua sha tool
When you’re a gua sha practitioner, you never know what tool you might need so having a wide range is the best way to be prepared for any client who walks through the door.
