This black Bian stone is a gua sha tool ideal for gentle massage and skin stimulation. Bian stones are traditional tools and their use dates back thousands of years to early Chinese medical practices. This stone has three flatter sides and a bumpy side, enabling the user to apply varying amounts of pressure.
- Bian stone therapy A form of gua sha, Bian stone therapy is a non-invasive practice using stones traditionally collected from the banks of the River Si. The stones would be ground into different shapes to allow practitioners to apply pressure to muscles and acupoints, offering soothing treatments and relieving pain.
